New Term. New Energy. How to keep the pace kind..

Hello all you brilliant souls

How are you all? I so hope you are well and had a good summer!

I am back after taking most of August off - I did a week at Edinburgh Fringe, which was intense and brilliant all at the same time. We (Improbotics) had great reviews and averaged 70 people a night over the whole festival which was awesome!

Now I am back with a whole new sense of energy and purpose, which leads me to this weeks Play Letter.

With feeling refreshed and energised (which I hope all of you are) it is so important to just keep checking the pace of how you and your life are operating… Here are some things that have helped me keep the pace as I want it to be - not what the world is telling me it should be..

  1. Grounding each morning - either through exercise, walking or mediation.

  2. Trying (and still trying) to really use my phone less and less - airplane mode is my friend

  3. Keep space in my diary just to think, be.. my diary is mine and I can choose how I want it to look - full does not mean productive

  4. Slowing down to eat properly and well.. I am trying not to “grab” food - be more concious and I have sat down to drink coffee rather than take away.

As you can see all simple, yet there are helping me and I hope they help you. If you are leading people or just yourself creating a pace that works for you I know is so important so we can create the impact we want.

Part of my break was going on an adventure.. if we are talking pace then I really did up mine by going on an adventure on a motorbike… If you want to hear how this journey in all sense of the word affected me then listen in on the pod!
