Hello All you fab souls

Happy December. Wow am I really writing that? Yes. Almost the end of another year. How does that land in your body when you read that?

For me it has been quite a year, and this start of the month feels like a new start for me, new chapter in many ways, which is exciting!

Why do I feel that way? I think it is mainly due to the work I have been doing with my new coach - (she specialises in money and our relationship to it, but as with all coaching it has been so much more than that!)

What are the main things I have learnt from looking up more?

Clarity - I now am so clear on what I am doing this year and next - actually have a plan - this is new and exciting for me - I normally just follow what feels right at any point. This plan allows me to still do that but with a sense of grounding!

Focus - I have a clear focus on where I am putting my energy and how I want to do it. What rooms I want to be in, who I want to meet and who I want to spend my time with.

Safety - having a clear idea of what I am going to do with my time, means I feel so safe that I now have more space to play.

While I reflect on this it is very apparent to me that this is what I have been doing for my clients for over 20 years. I can not believe I have been coaching for that long - my practice has developed and changed over the years. I look back with love at my younger self who would turn up with plans of what we would do in a session based upon the new techniques I had learnt! Now I have twenty plus years of tools in my tool box and I trust that the right thing will emerge to help who I am working with.

Part of my clarity is that I will work with ten fab souls over the year with my Day with Em - (I know how do I come up with such a name!!) - I have been running these ad hoc for the last few years and they truly work.

One day with me (now in my new studio where I write this from) - focussed on what you need - in a day it is amazing what we can achieve, then two hours of follow up (as we all need accountability!!) People have come to work on new talks, work out next career moves, refine their personal brand, create a new business plan - all the people I have worked with are brave, curious and successful and just like us all need some space to shift, change and grow.

This month has also seen me do my three nights of my comedy show in London, the nights were brilliant and I now have a pause before the rest of the tour in England, followed by Melbourne Comedy Festival and Edinburgh festival in August! One thing from doing the show that becomes more and more apparent is that people are craving connection, laughter and joy. The other big change for me taking time is that in Jan 2026 I will be leaving all things Meta - yes including Whats App (taking a deep breath on that one!) After reading Careless People I can not stand by and stay on their platforms - I talk about thinking with kindness and I can not stay on something that is so far from kind. I truly believe that if we want the world to operate in a different way then we each have to do something to change it. So you have me here, on You tube and in real life...! I will let you know how it goes - I have moved (well starting to) to Signal - it is the same as Whats App...

So, looking up means being brave, changing things and standing in our own truth, while having fun and enjoying the moments.
